STRIPPING

Working

Volatile components can be effectively removed from a liquid such as wastewater or drainagewater
by evaporating them into the relatively large flow of gas (air) which, in a Galicos unit, is
contacted with the liquid. (see working principle). The unique anti fouling properties and
cleanability of the system make it possible to treat polluted and scale causing liquids.
If necessary the flow of gas can be led through a second Galicos unit to condensate and
recuperate the volatile components.
