Working

Clean vapour evaporates from the warmer liquid into the recirculating gas stream (see working principle) and condensates into the clean cooler liquid. Thermal energy is conveyed as evaporation- condensation energy from the warmer liquid in the first Galicos unit (A) to the cooler liquid in the second Galicos unit(B). This method implies that a relatively small volume of clean condensate is added to the clean, cooler liquid. The heat transfer capacity depends on the (mean) operation temperature. (see K-value table below).
